Repairs

Sometimes things are loved, so much so, they have holes in them or fall apart at the seams. Send a photo of the damage to ityarns@gmail.com and I'll let you know if I can help.

This may be an invisible repair or a new patch to give the item another lease of life. If a rescue isn't possible, I may still be able to rework the yarn into something new for you.

Recent rescues include:
a sock to leg-warmer conversion (to rescue the lovely hand-knitted fair-isle that had been worn through over the years);
jumpers (needing re-seaming following over stretching,);
a security blanket patch (cuddled to threads,) and
a knitted footstool fitted with a new lining (formerly leaking polystyrene beads everywhere).
